International Outreach
ETHIOPIA SURGICAL OUTREACH
Dr. Dimmig has worked with the Himalayan Cataract Project in Ethiopia since 2012. The Himalayan Cataract Project funds education of ophthalmic surgeons in Asia and Africa via skills transfer outreach programs.
GUATEMALA SURGICAL OUTREACH
Both Dr. Dimmig and Dr. Bonetto have each been on multiple surgical mission trips with a group from Bend to the Hospital de la Familia in Guatemala. Dr. Bonetto continues to be involved with the biannual trips.
